Campaign creators may be required to provide additional information where necessary to verify their identity, organisation, eligibility, or ability to receive campaign proceeds.

2. Campaign Information

Cellepay allows verified individuals and registered organisations to create fundraising campaigns.

Campaign creators generally provide basic profile information and information necessary to describe the purpose of their campaigns.

Campaign description
Campaign category
Fundraising target
Campaign images or other permitted media
Basic information about the campaign purpose
Campaign creator profile information
Campaign status and fundraising activity

Campaign creators are responsible for ensuring that information submitted to Cellepay is accurate, lawful, and appropriate for publication.

Cellepay may review campaign information for verification, fraud prevention, safety, moderation, compliance, and enforcement of our policies.

3. Campaign Creator Verification

Cellepay permits individuals and registered organisations to create campaigns, subject to successful verification and compliance with our applicable policies and requirements.

We may collect and process information necessary to verify the identity, eligibility, authenticity, or legitimacy of a campaign creator.

The information required for verification may vary depending on whether the campaign creator is an individual or a registered organisation and may also depend on payment-provider, fraud-prevention, legal, or regulatory requirements.

Verification information may be processed to determine whether a campaign creator is eligible to create campaigns and receive campaign proceeds.

4. Payments and Transaction Information

Contributors make payments through payment processing services integrated with Cellepay.

Cellepay currently uses Paystack as a payment processing provider for contributions made through the platform.

Payment card information and other payment credentials are processed by the applicable payment provider. Cellepay does not require the storage of complete payment card numbers or card security codes on its own systems in order to process contributions.

Depending on the transaction, Cellepay may receive transaction information such as:

Transaction reference
Payment status
Contribution amount
Currency
Campaign associated with the transaction
Contributor account information
Payment date and time
Refund or reversal status
Other information required for transaction reconciliation

Payment providers process payment information in accordance with their own privacy policies and applicable requirements.

5. Campaign Funds and Disbursement

Contributions made to Cellepay campaigns are processed through our payment provider and received by Milounge Technologies Limited for administration and management in connection with the relevant campaign.

Milounge may hold and administer campaign proceeds pending the applicable campaign conditions, verification requirements, payment reconciliation, fraud and compliance checks, and other requirements applicable to the campaign.

Where the campaign satisfies the applicable conditions, campaign proceeds may be disbursed to the verified campaign creator associated with the campaign.

Campaign creators may be required to complete verification before campaign proceeds can be disbursed.

We may also process transaction and account information to:

Reconcile contributions
Track campaign fundraising activity
Determine amounts associated with a campaign
Administer campaign proceeds
Process eligible disbursements
Process refunds or reversals where applicable
Investigate payment disputes
Detect fraud or suspicious activity
Comply with applicable legal requirements

The handling and disbursement of campaign proceeds is subject to Cellepay's applicable terms, campaign rules, verification requirements, payment-provider requirements, and applicable law.
